Classes & workshops

Small groups, a wheel each, no rushing.

Every class is capped at eight students. Prices include clay, tools, glazes and two firings. If you've never touched clay, start with a workshop or Wheel Throwing 101.

Questions

Before you book

I've never done pottery. Which class should I take?

For a single taste, a Saturday hand-building workshop. If you want to learn the wheel properly, Wheel Throwing 101: six weeks is enough time to get past the frustrating first two sessions.

What should I wear?

Clothes that can get clay on them, short nails if possible, and hair tied back. We have aprons. Clay washes out of most fabric.

When do I get my pots?

About three weeks after you make them. Pots need to dry, get a first (bisque) firing, be glazed, then get a second firing. We'll email you when they're on the pickup shelf.

What if I miss a class?

Course students can make up one missed session at an open studio session within the same six weeks. Workshops can be moved to another date with 72 hours' notice.

Do you do private events?

Yes, for up to 12 people on Sunday afternoons. Send us a message with your date and group size.
